Upper cabinet

First upper tool box was damaged in the shipping box. Packing box wasn’t damaged but the upper toolbox inside was dented on the one end. I showed the Canadian tire manager pictures of the damage and they replaced it without any issues at all. Excellent service. Very upper toolbox to match the lower rolling cabinet that I purchased at the same time. Very happy with my purchases and with how Canadian tire took care of my issue.

Q: Where do I find instructions online to take off Butcher block when combining both top and bottom of maximum tool chest?

A: Actually you don't need to remove the wood top for combination. If you really want to remove it, please refer to page 7 of the manual. As the manual stated, you need to remove some drawers and loosen the screws from the wood top first.

Q: Why does this chest have a lower load rating than 058-2527-0 which is only 22GA instead of 21GA (thinner metal)? Same question for the lower half of the matching chests. Is the type of Metal weaker or are there structural differences?

A: They both feel equally strong. I didn’t notice any difference and I have them stacked on top of each other. Could just be a structural thing for the different metals used, but they’re both solid!

Q: What's the spacing between the holes in the back panel? I'd like to use peg board hooks in them to hang things.
