This Vac-Pole dust-free sander kit connects to any vacuum to capture all the dust as you work, keeping your workspace free of harmful sanding mess. The kit includes a sanding head with a universal joint to maneuver into tight spots, two vacuum hose adapters to fit most shop vacuums, a sand screen, a 6 inch vacuum hose with swivel ends and a pole connector. All you need is an extension pole to make quick work of sanding those hard-to-reach areas, without the hassle of dust and debris covering your surfaces and tools.

    The product works pretty well. Eliminating bout 75%-85% of drywall dust. The airflow is adjustable. The problem is that it only came with 150 grit sanding nets. They’re pretty rough on drywall surfaces leaving lines taking off too much products. Bought 240 grit sanding nets online and the problem was solved. Drywall dust will go everywhere even with containment. Wish I had purchased this months ago. There is a noticeable difference.

    Wouldn't waste my money on this thinking it will make the job easier. Its a good concept but dont work worth a darn. The sanding head just flip flops when you try to sand. You can sand a 1-2 foot stretch and it just flips the head cant even sand with it! Would not recommend, makes the job far more frustrating

    Q: How long does the sanding screen last? Does it need to be replaced at the same rate as sandpaper?

    • A: The sandscreen provided in the 18374 is the high performance abrasive net. You can sand an entire room with it. It will last longer than regular sandpaper. It needs to be replaced 3 to 4 times less than regular sandpaper.
