Blade warps

Bought this to cut sanded plywood. Blade tends to heat up then warp throwing off the cut. Might be good for laminate with lots of cooling time between cuts.

Not suitable for MDF

a year ago

I purchased this blade for cutting MDF sheets. I had to cut about 1 foot at a time and then let the blade cool before continuing. If I kept cutting the blade would heat up, warp and would bind in the piece. I ruined a few pieces of MDF because of this. Would not recommend for MDF.

A: 055-6987, 10",200T Circular Saw Blade was designed for Plywood, OSB, Veneer, or Plastic, but not applicable for MDF moulding. For MDF moulding, we recommend 054-2590-4, 12", 100T Circular Saw Blade, MX.
