Excellent for garage or shop

I’ve had this radio for several years and the sound is decent. I use it in my garage and the only compliant received was from a neighbour to “Turn it Down” lol. The Bluetooth works flawlessly and a 5 amp battery will last a long time if you’re away from power.

Good quality music. I like the plug in or battery option. I have plenty of chargers, so didn't see the need to spend another $100 to get one that charges.

Sitting on a bench in my (dry) basement, I was upstairs and heard music playing. When I went downstairs, the radio was somehow, on.. Weird.. It wouldn't turn off with the button so I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and now it won't turn on! This is obviously an issue with this model.. I'm reading reviews from 3+ years ago that say no parts were available then, possibly they are now?

This is my second radio both are now broken with the same on/off switch issue as everyone else! Dewalt will not offer parts for sale for repairing . Only 4 years old low usage. Unbelievable!

I really haven't used it much yet, however it looks great, perfect size for what I want. I plan to use it in the garage or outside in the warmer months, it has a roll cage around it so it should be somewhat robust and weatherproof I hope! I already have some dewalt batteries so powering this when outside or using during a power outage is another reason I purchased it. Bluetooth option is another plus! The sound quality is good, but not great (not Bose speaker quality clarity for sure) but it will be sufficient for my needs. The ability to charge a battery when plugged in to a receptable would have been nice, however this model doesn't offer that.
