Have this saw and it just turned 4 years old and the trigger broke, so I went to the store steering what they could do for me knowing there is a full blown schematic diagram in the owners manual showing every part it has with part numbers, I wasn't looking for a warranty replacement,I only wanted the part it needed which turned out to be the main electrical assembly, the customer service girl was very nice but she called another older lady over and she was very ignorant and not much help and told me she can't do nothing it's not under warranty good bye, so I called customer service from the number on the manual and they can't even get any part for any tool that's mastercrap but yet they have part numbers and schematics in there manuals, pretty terrible service, this was Sydney Nova Scotia store

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice Saw, wish it had more power

[Employee of canadiantire-ca] I got this for the portablility of it, and the size, I also liked the fact that it is part of the PWR POD battery system. After using it a few times, I am truly wishing that it was more powerful, especially when cutting through nails that are embedded within wood. I find it slow right down and is not that fast at cutting through those nails. So do not expect the same power as the full size reciprocating saw (cordless or corded).For more basic jobs, this is a great addition but I will need to now purchase the full size reciprocating MC saw to do what I was hoping this one would do.

Probably a great tool - just can’t believe it’s not compatible with most batteries and wants you to buy new ones which will fit it. Just be aware - it’s looking for a 3 prong battery…

Q: Is this comparable to the Milwaukee M12 Fuel or M18 Fuel hackzalls? This appears to have a longer stroke length with the same stroke per min rating. Is it worth buying into another battery platform for this saw?

A: This saw is definitely a versatile tool, excelling in everything from woodworking to pruning trees & shrubs in the yard. The biggest reason I purchased the saw is it uses the same 20 volt battery platform as the rest of my tools. Saw strokelength is excellent...no complaints...but with confidence.

Q: Can I use the PWR POD 20V MID 5.0 Ah battery on this product or does it require the PWR POD 20V MID 4.0 Ah Battery?

A: Hi. I only have a 20V Mid 4 ah battery. I do not see why you could not use any PWR POD battery on any tool that is powered by a PWR POD battery. The 5.0 Ah battery would last longer between charging then the lower Ah rated batteries.

A: I don't have a video review of this saw but I own 2 of them, one at home and once I use professionally at work as an auto technician. It seems to do very well at the tasks I've given it and much less expensive compared to alternatives from other brands.
