Excellent value ceiling fan

We have had the ceiling fan for couple weeks now and are very pleased with it so far. It is excellent value for the price. The fan is quiet and move air well. The light is not overly bright but works well for a bedroom. It was easy to install and took me just over an hour including removing the original fixture .

Horrible!

This ceiling fan worked fine for about 6 months. It now randomly decides it won’t work for a day or two, most recently 4 days! Then it began working again. We got so fed up with not knowing when the ceiling light will or won’t work that we decided to order a new fan elsewhere. I can’t seem to find a contact for Noma. Lesson learnt, buy home improvement products from an actual home improvement store.
No, I do not recommend this product.

N'achetez pas ce ventilateur c'est de la cochonner

J'ai acheté ce ventilateur le 17 mai 2025 et le 20 mai il était installé par un électricien et le lendemain déjà la lumière a cessé de fonctionné et la première vitesse n'a jamais fonctionné. Je ne l'ai pas retourné parce qu'il est installé dans un plafond cathédrale à 15 pieds dans les airs donc je ne suis pas équipé pour le changer mais c'est extrêmement frustrant avoir payé un électricien pour installer une cochonnerie comme ça. Plus jamais j'achète de truc électrique au canadian tire. Sa fait 3 fois qu'il arrive des choses comme sa au canadiant tire donc c'est terminé pour moi.

I bought it and right out of the box it would wobble and couldn't balance it. It made a loud clicking sound aswell.

A: Yes ours did. Randomly, like at 4 in the morning!I called Noma, who told me a couple of things to check regarding installation. It had been installed correctly so therefore it was defective. It was still under warranty so we retuned it. The warranty was only good for replacement and we didn't want another. Paid extra and upgraded. Had to pay for installation and de-installation.

A: This fan is mainly operated by remote control, It ONLY can connect with ON/OFF switch. DO NOT connect this fan with a variable speed wall control or wall-mounted dimmer switch as it will permanently damage the fans remote control and could cause the fans function to fail, pls kindly note

Q: I would also like to know if LED is replaceable... or can the light colour stay in memory? Every time we turn off by switch on the wall the light goes back to the default light colour. I don't want to leave the switch on all day and have to use the remote

A: The LED could be replaced by the light kit. Our remote control has memory function, pls refer to the warning card to connect wall control, the memory function can be used even if without remote control transmitter.
