Q: It is necessary to sand? Can it go over paint or primer on top of paint?
10 years agoA: It can go over paint, but always requires sanding with 80 grit, spoiling any nearby finishing. It turns into a sticky mess often enough that I'd only use it under ideal conditions, before the sanding/filling primers.

Q: Toyota Corolla LE 2021 couleur rouge. Égratignée sur pare choc avant et aile avant. Est ce que vitre produit va faire disparaître les égratignures peu profondes.

A: Ce mastic n'est pas recommandé pour des travaux de réparation sur des surfaces en plastique car au moindre choc ce dernier se détacherait du pare-chocs. Cependant, un réparateur professionnel pourrait être capable d'appliquer le mastic puis appliquer une couche de peinture dessus. Nous suggérons d'évaluer la profondeur des égratignures avant d'acheter ce produit.

Q: Can you use this to make a mold
6 years agoA: Our Bondo Body Filler has not been designed or tested to be used as a mold, out of scope. Its very porous so I don’t see it releasing well if used as a mold. Max thickness we recommend is ¼”

Q: Can i use this for hard plastic bumper?
7 years agoA: Unfortunately no. Body filler is not recommended for plastic bumper repairs. The bond will not be the greatest to the plastic and it could either crack or pop off in a subsequent impact as is will not flex like the bumper.

11 years agoA: We assume it's a plastic bumper cover you are asking about. If this is the case, bodyfillers will not bond properly to the plastic for a strong repair.
