Product Details

The Garrison™ Photoelectric Smoke Alarm is a battery-operated smoke alarm with a 9-volt battery included. Photoelectric sensor technology will detect invisible fire particles associated with slow, smoldering fires and alert you with a loud 85-decibel alarm and a large, flashing LED light circle. The smoke alarm does not contain radioactive material and is harmless to the environment, and it will also remind you to change the battery when the low-battery indicator chirps. This alarm passed the newest UL 217 9th ed. Screws and anchors provided for easy installation.

Garrison Photoelectric Battery Smoke Alarm

I had to trim a bit of plastic from the mounting plate to get the detector to twist on the mount. I used a toe nail clipper. It's a minor issue that should be addressed by the manufacturer. The smoke detector is good quality. Very compact and loud. I bought several for my house. I would buy again!
