Cheap looking and doesn’t pour well

I bought this because it looked really nice in the photos and was reasonably priced. Unfortunately there wasn’t a display model in the store. The carafe body is all lightweight plastic and the handle is plastic with a wood grain print. My first impression from unboxing wasn’t great but again, the price wasn’t bad so I figured I could look past the low quality feel. That was until I rinsed it and tried pouring out the water. This does not pour well at all. There is a top reservoir that the lid sits in which makes it difficult to pour at a normal angle. You either have to take the lid completely off to pour or loosen it completely and hold it almost upside down and because of the reservoir / lip, the pour isn’t smooth at all. It’s a sloppy pour that splashes a lot. This wen’t straight into the thrift store donation pile. Would not recommend
