My Dyson v7 died and bought this as a replacement. Turns out this vaccum is even better than my old V7. Buying a new replacement battery from Dyson is 140$ and buying a replacement battery from Tineco is 82$. A Dyson battery will last one year, this one will last 2 tom3 years.

Not great for hard floors

After using Dyson vacuums for years, I thought I would try something new. The reviews on this seemed pretty good and it was a decent price point on sale. The majority of my house is hardwood floors, I definitely don’t recommend it for that. It was a little better on carpet in my basement. Canadian Tire wouldn’t take it back unfortunately. I should have just bought another Dyson. Would only recommend getting this if you’re using it on carpet.
