Shark Corded Steam Mop

Nice, easy to use. Only problem is pads get dirty quick and then basically spread it around. Need multiple pads to get floors cleaned.

I received this product when I purchased another larger product (carpet shampoo machine). While it did sway me at the time to make that purchase (I was already in the market for a carpet cleaner), I would not repeat the purchase. The steamer I had from shark worked great but it is no longer available neither are the pads, or I would still be using it. This is a great let down for a shark product. And because I have used and liked shark for a long time, I went ahead and bought two extra mop heads so that I always had one available. Now it looks like I totally wasted that money. Here's why: 1. there is no on/off button 2. there is no ability to have a built in cleaning product (like my old one) 3. in order to get steam you have to pump the handle... so you pump the handle, it steams for a little bit, then you have to pump the handle again...and again...and again. 4. there is no way to determine the amount of steam you want (like the old one) It seem like, although I could be wrong, when you stop to pump it, if you pump it several times you will get a fuller amount of steam coming out. 5. it has a much smaller water reservoir, so you have to continually stop to refill it for bigger jobs. 6. it has a much smaller length of cord, so for doing big jobs you are forced to relocate the plug more frequently. No. There is not one good thing that I can say about this machine, except I will have to look elsewhere for my next steamer if this is the kind of junk that Shark is going to put out. I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this machine to anyone. If I could give it 5 negative stars I would. Just keep looking!

For the price its a must. Steam comes out very well and hot enough to get rid of the grime with just water. Add a tiny drop or two of cleaner if you want extra fresh but neutral smell is good for me. The unit heats up quickly and maneuvers easily. Wish it came with one extra mop head. Make sure you use distilled or RO water as the the nozzles will clog up over time. Its a steam mop what more do you need? If you want more be prepared to spend triple the price.

Bought it as a replacement for a 10 year old Shark floor steam mop. I use it to clean the winter salt build up off the hardwood floors and grease off the kitchen hardwood. It powers up quickly, it is lightweight and very easy to use and the steam is powerful. The pad was easy to attach and stayed put. The cord is long enough to clean the floors without having to change outlets. It would be nice if it came with a carpet glide, but, for the price it is a great deal.

I've had this for several months. Got it as a promotion when I purchased my new vacuum! I must say that for large areas you need several pads because they pick up A LOT of dirt!!!! I do love it. Mostly use it in my smaller rooms and for spot cleaning but it's amazing! The cord is not as long as i would like but nothing else bad to say!
