NOMA 3-Setting Oil Filled Heater with Adjustable Thermostat provides ultra-quiet, gradual heat that is energy efficient and consistent, heating your medium-sized space with ease. High, medium and low heat settings make it easy to maintain custom comfort. Use the adjustable thermostat to select the perfect temperature and the unit will establish that temperature before transitioning to maintenance mode. Casters make it easy to wheel this heater from room to room as necessary, while the recessed carrying handle makes lifting the unit a breeze. A power indicator light always shows when the unit is on, while overheating and tip-over protection functions and convenient cord storage ensure safe operation.

Older version much better

Does not heat like the older versions. Returned it and tried a new one in the store. Worked pretty good but not at home. Thinking of returning it again and getting a 3rd older one.

Disappointing

I recently purchased this heater to replace my older one. The older one kicked out a fair bit of heat, even at the lowest setting. This new model gets warm, but the room stays cold. I wish I could have my old one back. I am disappointed.

It works well - have not found out how to adjust the two dials for any change. Bottom one turns it on. Top dial allows for circulation I think. Must read directions!

Do not buy if you need heat

There is no way this is a 1500W heater. I have an older Noma 1500w and you can roast weiners on it. Will make make you sweat after 20 min. This is a cheap toy, will not heat a 90sq foot room at all. I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money on this. But I trusted the Noma brand name.

Q: We chose this model as it will automatically power back on after an outage but we’d like to use it to keep pipes in an unseated crawl space from freezing. We need to know how much clearance is safe at the various settings.

A: Too expensive for that purpose. There are pipe heaters, that wrap around the specific area you'd like to keep warm. They're 1/3 the cost of a space heater, also uses less energy. Search "EASYHEAT Automatic Electric Water Pipe Heating Cables, #052-2592-4"
