Makes good Coffee

So far it's been good. Makes good coffee, looks great in the kitchen. I like that it is programmable, but I found it to be a bit complicated to program at first. As with anything, you get the hang of it after you've done it a few times. I do like that it comes with it's own re-usable filter, although I have the option to (and do) use a paper filter for easier cleanup. Seems like a good purchase and I would recommend.

A: No, it does not make a beep when done. However, the heating element (I think) makes a constant 'pop' sound, which I'm hoping settles down in time.

A: Hi Rachel, the default setting for the hot plate to stay on is 2 hours. This however can be adjusted to stay on from either 15 minutes up to 5 hours. Thank you.

A: You certainly can, it produces hot (not quite boiling) water. (but don't use it for both coffee and tea, or your tea will not taste good as it'll be tainted by coffee usage.). Best to stick with a kettle.
