Q: My cats eat freeze dried chicken and fish. Can I dehydrate chicken on this so that it will be crisp enough that it will be about the same for them? Hopefully I can as the packages I’m buying for them right now are really expensive.

Q: Will it dehydrate liver?

A: Yea it will dehydrate liver. Partially freeze your liver so it is easier to slice . Then slice 1/4 inch slices. Set the temp to 150f to 165f. Depending on the thickness of the slices it can take anywhere from 6-12 hours.

A: We make jerky all the time with it. It takes quite a while but it turns out great. We usually soak in a teriyaki sauce before dehydrating.
