The mill works very well. I have been using it regularly and it does a nice job grinding beans. I do put it on the coarse setting as it tends to be too much of a powder on the medium settings. I am going to be purchasing a percolator coffee pot soon, so I wanted to try it out first.
It is important to tap the sides of the container before removing it from the mill as it can be messy. But it worth it. I also like the that I can keep beans in the hopper at the top and can grind as many as I need. Very happy with my purchase.

Terrific coffe bean grinder

Super glad that I upgraded to the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill! It is fabulous and a huge upgrade from my previous grinder. Super easy to get the exact grind you want and very easy to clean & able to grind just what is needed. It is also much easier to switch coffee beans for regular hot coffee, to espresso beans to cold brew beans. The noise is solid & not abrasive, and easier on my ears early in the morning compared to my previous grinder. If you're thinking upgrading & wondering if it's worth the price, I can tell you that it absolutely is worth every penny.

I love the shape and style of this grinder, it is easy to use, take apart, clean, and put back together.
It makes grounds for both our coffee pot and our espresso maker. It’s perfect!

Q: Is the Cuisinart Supreme Grind Auto Burr Mill suitable for grinding spices? Is there a smaller version for spices? I definitely want a burr mill not blades.

A: Perhaps it will last longer if only used for grinding small amount of spices. Please be cautious of toasting whole spice before putting them in the hopper as there is a lot of plastic and I don't think it was meant for that purpose. the heat may cause problems.

A: To operate dial the cone to the grind you want, then you push down on the black “Start” bar. Make sure the basket is in place to catch the grind.
