The kettle doesn’t have the minimum features such as the required boiling points. This line should be completely connected. Unfortunately, Canadian Tire carry a value less product that doesn’t inform the customer about its features. When I tried to return it. The manager was very very rude and refused to return it. I told him that I didn’t use it, I only checked it and found that it has no feature of a boiling points required neither. He provided me with a Gift card and refused to refund me!!! It was really ridiculous from his part.

Q: Good evening. After purchasing a new Salton kettle, I encountered a problem right from the first use. The kettle doesn't shut off automatically. It continues to boil continuously, with increasing power, producing an excessive amount of steam.

A: Yes I have noticed that issue also. I believe it's a problem with the lid, it raises slightly when hot and doesn't stay shut so it won't turn off.
