A: The power cord is approximately 6 feet long. The cord comes out of the back right side of back.

A: 15cm or 6 inches is minimum for the right side where the compressor sits. Efficiency is compromised with less clearance.

A: You can maximize efficiency by following the instructions in the manual. Additionally, place the freezer in the basement of your home and buy a freezer thermometer so that you can set the temperature to -18C or 0F. Any colder than that is not necessary.
