MASTER Chef Deluxe Non-Stick Rice Cooker & Steamer, Black, 10 Cups

I bought this a few weeks ago… followed instruction and was unhappy with the amount of starch that was spit out of the machine. It was a mess to clean up. Would not recommend.

I bought the item not more than 10 days ago and use the item 4th time earlier today when something make a sound at my back which the rice cooker is located when i notice that the rice cooker is deformed already. I wanted to return the item scared what next might happened to the item but my spouse throw the receipt the other day already.

I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this rice cooker, this thing is laughably bad. I actually managed to use it 2 times, which appears to be more than most people's one-time use before it breaks. It has a drain valve on the side, but the holes are too small so they get instantly clogged with starchy rice water which causes sticky rice water to overflow out of the pot and all over the counter. The drain holes are conveniently located under the hinge of the lid (which you cannot remove) so I had to resort to using a q-tip to clean the gunk out of it, only for it to get clogged again immediately. Speaking of the lid, it is impossible to open this rice cooker without scalding your hand because the handle is located directly above the vent that blasts hot vapor out of it. The warming setting is not warm, it's hot, so unless you're able to turn it off as soon as it finishes cooking and moves to its "warming" setting, it will burn the rice at the bottom of the pot. All in all, I'm pretty convinced that this rice cooker was designed by someone who has never cooked rice in their lives, and I will be returning it. Very poor.
