What isn't being said about this broom.

REVIEWER BACKGROUND: I am hard on equipment and critical about the products I use. I have nearly forty years experience using all kinds of brooms for all kinds of applications. ASSESSMENT OF THIS ROUGH SURFACE BROOM: I have avoided this kind of broom for most of my life thinking it would be like using a plastic bristle barn broom that just flings everything around and takes a hundred passes per square foot to get a surface cleaner, or like those really dense and rigid synthetic brooms that just get clogged and are frustrating to use in or outdoors against high count particle debris. I was woefully and regrettably stupid. I have been humbled and educated having found the recent sale price too tempting to pass up. Friends, I have literally lost days of my life by never using this kind of broom for what it is intended for. To use it is a revelation and cheat code. Yes, there are a couple minor tweaks that would make it more luxurious to use. However, as it is when purchased it more than paid for itself on the first use. I have been using it for the spring cleaning of my asphalt and concrete parking lot at my commercial building to take off the winter gravel, sand, and very fine grit dust. This Rough Surface Broom is unparalleled by any other style of broom for this type of use, in my seasoned experience. It can be used to easily guide the debris in a controlled manner. It is also highly effective for power stroke rapid movement of the majority of larger particle debris, and a major portion of the finer sub-layer particles with just one aggressive pass. In every pass it will retain essentially none of the debris that clogs other types of brooms. Of course mud or other sticky particles will clog, but not as badly, and is much easier to clean out. All in all, I have been putting this broom through a very aggressive test with all the force my six and a half foot tall, two hundred and sixty pound frame can throw at it for five days at least eight hours a day. It has exceeded any expectations or hopes and satisfied me greatly. BUY THIS BROOM!!! (I am just a dude sharing my opinion. No compensation or prompting was given to me for my review.)

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: What is the extra short brace that dangles from the bolt from the larger brace? There doesn’t appear to be another hole and bolt to attach it to, anywhere?
