The thermos was exactly what I wanted. I wanted a glass insert as opposed to a stainless steel. However Canadian Tire Service was not as good. I ordered two they charged me for two only one was available but it's been over a week and I'm still waiting for my refund what's up with that?

Q: How long will this thermos keep coffee hot?

  • A: The thermos keeps liquids hot for about 6 hours, but only the liquids that don't leak out. Don't buy this item!

Q: Can I break down those thermos and remove the glass lining and check it on a weekly basis. Back in the '80s you could unscrew the bottom and top and remove the whole glass linings.

Q: is the lined glass inside of canadian thermos made of mercury? When I pour water from thermos in a cup, I see some things like sparkles in the water, what it could be, is it dangerous or poisonous?

  • A: Unless the glass is broken, it is impossible to get to the silver as it is in the vacuum space, not a coating. There is no coating on glass bottles on any accessible surface. Additionally, no mercury is used to make this product.

    Q: The glass liner broke and I drank shards of glass while I was drinking coffee this morning at work. This is a very new buy and I also had x-rays done on my stomach. Thermos will be getting a lawsuit once I leave the hospital
