Waterproof tarp

Light, easy to handle, perfect for covering a patio sectional for overnight or rain showers. The grommets are a help. I would suggest a heavier tarp for periods of prolonged coverage.

5 tears in it already when I unfolded it. check yours before you leave Canadian Tire! very thin material as well.

I bought this a few weeks ago to cover a table I was transporting. It served the purpose well, its strong enough on the grommet rings to secure the tarp with bungee cords or tarp straps and resist tearing. Its a good value for the price point.

Q: Can I get one of these in 20 x 30 ft? I need this tarp in a larger size, 20 x 30 ft.

  • A: We currently carry two 20 x 28 ft tarps. Please see the Certified Specialty White Tarp (040-5013) or the Certified Value Tarp (040-5077). Unfortunately we do not carry a brown coloured tarp in this size.

Q: Is actual size as indicated or do the edges make it smaller? Is for example a 10ft x 12 ft this actual size or is it reduced to 9 ft something and 12ft something?

  • A: 12 feet x 16 feet is the 'cut size'. Finished size may vary due to hem allowance.

Q: How thick is this tarp? Would it rip easily?

  • A: This tarp has a Mesh Count/Weave Size of 10x10 and a Weight per Square Yard of 2.74oz. This is considered a Standard Duty tarp. All of our Tarpaulins are put through quality tests however these are products that have limits and life expectancies. If you are looking to put your tarp through heavy duty use we recommend a Premium Tarp which has a Mesh Count/Weave Size of 14x14. A premium tarp of a similar size is product 0405022.
