Certified All-Purpose Oil/Fluid Absorbent Crystals are more than just an oil absorbent: these absorbing crystals can be used to clean up oil and fluid spills, provide odour control around the house, or serve as a traction aid for slippery surfaces.

  • Made up of a specialized formula that enables quick and effective spill clean-up and odour reduction

  • Ideal for any garage, driveway and auto shop use. Absorbs automotive fluids, paints, solvents, grease, oil, water and more

  • Quickly and effectively cleans up fluids/oil and reduces strong odours

  • Absorbs automotive fluids, paints, solvents, grease, oil, water and much more

  • Absorbent material acts as a traction aid to help keep work areas safe

  • Contains a natural blend of diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite clay

  • Spills: Cover with a generous amount of Certified All-Purpose Oil/Fluid Absorbent Crystals, then sweep up when dry and dispose of used material accordingly

  • Spill Containment: Pour 3-1/2" (9 cm) high wall around the perimeter of the spill to contain any liquid and prevent any further damage or contamination. Increase application if spill becomes larger, or if material becomes too saturated

  • For Odour Control: keep garbage bins dry and odour-free by layering bottom of bin with 1" (2.5 cm) of Certified All-Purpose Oil/Fluid Absorbent Crystals

  • Traction aid: Place a generous amount of Certified All-Purpose Oil/Fluid Absorbent Crystals under vehicle wheels, or on walkways and sidewalks, as a traction aid in winter

  • Flooding: Remove all excess standing water. Apply up to 1" (2.5 cm) of material on top of sub-flooring. Allow material to sit until dry, then sweep up. Reapply if still damp. Vacuum up using a workshop vacuum, if necessary. Dispose of used material accordingly

  • Suitable for trash cans, waste containers, compost bins, dumpsters, and garage compactors

  • Store in a cool, dry area

Good, just not great!

Works OK but not what I was looking for. This absorbs liquids reasonably well but I was expecting better. A diesel mechanic used a scoop of oil absorbing fine granules (like salt) a while ago in my garage and that's what I'm now trying to find. I'll keep using this bag until empty as it does absorb spills but will try something else next.

I used this all-purpose absorbent on my car oil leak in garage , and it worked much better than expected. It soaks up oil quickly without leaving residue, and the clean-up was effortless. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and genuinely useful for everyday messes. A practical product to keep around.
