It worked and fit perfectly on the rear licence plate of my wife’s Ford Edge. On the Edge, the rear plate is fastened tightly at the top of the plate but the bottom rests on rubber nibs. This allows the plate to be pulled up whenever the car goes through the car wash. I was able to remove the nibs and insert the plastic pieces and then fasten the plate down with the stainless screws. Works perfectly. No more bent plate.

Q: will these work on a 2008 acura mdx

A: The screws that come with this item are not meant for import vehicles like your Acura. However, if you need to use the plastic grommets that come with this kit then the screws should work fine as they will be going into the grommets. If you are using the factory original holes or brackets, I would recommend SKU 037-2387-2 which is a set of Metric Stainless License plate fasteners. That item includes metric screws meant for import vehicles and they are also stainless steel which is a benefit in Canada. Another solution would be to try the Cruiser Accessories Ultimate Hardware kit (SKU 037-2380-6) as it includes both metric and standard stainless steel fasteners as well as grommets and other hardware. Q: How can I install the plastic clips for my rear license plate. I have a BMW 328i year 2010. The clips are not pushing into the holes. Please advise. Thank you

A: I am sorry you are having an issue. I am not 100% sure what the issue is with the clips. I am also concerned you may have chosen the wrong hardware since a BMW generally takes metric hardware unless it has been modified.
