Needed to replace old motormaster booster back that no longer would hold a charge but was 20 years old. Saw it come on sale for $159 plus had a bonus CT Money coupon getting an additional $20 in CT Money. Was impressed when opened it up and came with nice case, others kept stored in original box. Nice simple display. Was also looking at Noco brand, but only had 1 year warranty compared to Motomaster 2 year warranty redeemable at any Canadian Tire. Time will tell but initial impression was positive.

Sure glad I bought this with the nasty cold spells we’ve had in SE ON this winter. Had to use it within a week of purchase on a -20 morning and it turned my SUV over right away. Would recommend.

Q: Are these able to boost the 12v electrical system of an EV when the battery is dead? No cold cranking amps are needed in this scenario, just a consistent 12v-14v supply.

- A: Yes. I had a dead 12V and this pack worked great. You can jump the 12v twice on a single charge but I found that I would charge the pack with my outlet in the car between stops when I was having trouble with my battery pre servicing.4 months agoHelpful?

- A: The internal lithium battery is well under the 100 Wh maximum lithium battery capacity allowed in carry on baggage. That said, we cannot speak to whether or not individual airports/airlines will allow the battery clamps in your carry on baggage as they security may deem them prohibited weapons or tools. You may need to transport the clamps separately in checked baggage. Best to check with your airline.4 months agoHelpful?
