Questions
Q: This has multiple charging modes. As it is an on-board model, the assumption is that it is permanently installed. Will it recall the last mode when plugged/unplugged from 120V mains? Or do I have to initiate a charge mode every time it's plugged in?
4 years agoA: Yes it will recall the previous setting. Just tested it. Set one bank to charging, one bank to standby, unplugged and plugged back in and charging modes were persistent. Also tried with each bank on a different battery type and the settings were retained.

Q: I have a large diesel truck with 2 batteries, can I charge both batteries independently with this charger? Or do the batteries need to be disconnected from each other?
5 months agoA: You can hook it to both batteries and charge individually. Most diesel trucks take power from both batteries at the same time when starting so the should already be tied together. I use this on my trolling motor batteries that are a 24v system but I have it hooked to each battery. They charge each battery to 100%. Hope this helps.
