    I used this to re-thread my o-2 sensor hole that was damaged while removing the original. I tried using as is and the first three threads were rounded over and looked like the threads of the sensor that I removed. I had a battery operated 4.5" grinder with a 1/16" wheel that I used to remove the damaged threads and then I added a deeper, more aggressive, better angled groove to better clean out the damaged threads. This tool would work if the groove was built better from the factory, more like a regular tap is designed.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
