PROS: Visible and light. The paddle comes apart, which is easier to store or carry in an SUV. There is a push button and 3 holes pre-drilled in the paddle so you can choose the angle you want. Had ours for 2 years and still in perfect condition CONS: Most paddles of this price got a little notch cut in the corner of the paddle to avoid water resistance, but this one is oval all around. I bought mine on sale but at regular price, you could go with a Pelican one which would be much better

This paddle has 3 settings which is great. You can choose which suits you. As well, the paddle comes apart for easier storage. It seems pretty durable.

Q: Why is there a bump on the right hand side of the paddle shaft but not the left?

A: It's paddle grip index for right-hand. If you paddle right-handed, your right hand will grip the shaft firmly, while your left hand allows the shaft to rotate freely as you paddle, and vice versa.
