Leaky Kettle

DON'T BUY THIS KETTLE!!
We bought this kettle and loved it, till it started to leak from the bottom edge not even a month later. We returned it and got another one, hoping the first incident was just a fluke. But the second kettle, having lasted 4 months longer than the first, also began to leak from the bottom. This is not a small leak either. I am talking about the whole counter top being covered in water, and leaked down my wood cupboards causing some water damage.
You would think for this price they would be providing you with a better product!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Like this kettle

Bought this kettle and have used it for a few months. I really like it and love how it looks. The only downfall is that it does not have the "cool wall" feature, so the sides get boiling hot. Takes a little getting used to as most kettles are cool touch.

Not good Quility

After several months, the kettle had a leaking issue. We returned it and we got a new one. It worked good for a couple of months and then, it would
boil water until you switch it off. I believe it has a problem in a temperature sensor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Kettle pro.Does it have a knob on the handle which will open it for fillling with water. I currently have a Melitta which has this feature.

This Oster Stainless Steel 360° Kettle does not have a knob on the handle. To open the kettle and fill with water, you need to lift up the Lid Release tab on its lid. Hope this information helps you. Q: How long does the water boil before it shuts off? I just purchased this kettle and it seems to boil for a long time before it shuts off. I'm wondering if I should exchange it?

This Oster Stainless Steel 360° Kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils. Please ensure the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed. The electric kettle will not turn off automatically if the ON/OFF switch is constrained, or if the lid is left open. Additionally, do not hold the switch on as this may damage the auto shut-off mechanism. Hope this information helps you. Have a great day!

Cette bouilloire (modèle 5965) incorpore une fonction de maintien au chaud, qui maintient l'eau à une température prédéterminée après le cycle d'ébullition. La fonction de maintien au chaud est idéale pour les petits déjeuners en famille, les pauses commerciales et la cuisine. - La fonction de maintien au chaud peut être activée avant, pendant ou après l'ébullition. La fonction de maintien au chaud peut également être désactivée à tout moment si elle n'est plus nécessaire. 1. Faites fonctionner la bouilloire en suivant les instructions contenues dans la section "Utilisation de votre bouilloire électrique" du manuel d'utilisation. Après avoir rempli la bouilloire et l'avoir replacée sur la base d'alimentation, faites bouillir l'eau, puis appuyez sur le bouton de maintien au chaud. Le bouton de maintien au chaud s'allume lorsqu'il est allumé. 2. Lorsqu'elle est activée, la fonction de maintien au chaud maintiendra la température de l'eau à environ 70˚C après l'ébullition. La fonction de maintien au chaud ne fera pas bouillir l'eau. 3. Pour désactiver la fonction de maintien au chaud, il suffit d'appuyer à nouveau sur le bouton marche/arrêt du maintien au chaud. Q: est ce que l'intérieure de la cuve est en inox l'eau est-elle en contact avec les paroies en inox ou est ce qu'il y a à l'intérieur un couche de plastique car je recherche un bouilloire tout inox pas seulement l'extérieure merci
