I was not succesful in getting info from the manufacturer as to whether Dot 5 silicone fluid was ok and safe to use in a British Girling brake system. I have had zero response.

DOT5 brake fluid

Only use where DOT5 is called for. Flushed Harley brake system this is purple in colour so easy to tell when old (yellow) fluid was out.
