Not actually dishwasher safe cooking pot

The website says the cooking pot is dishwasher safe, but the manual says it must be hand washed. Sure people oughta know that all non stick cookware need to be hand washed, but this website claim is misleading and false. Otherwise, it functions as expected and on sale is not a bad value.

Q: Does this rice cooker come with a stainless steel interior or is it non-stick that will wear? Is the steamer metal or plastic? What is the capacity of rice with the steamer in place?

A: Stainless steel interior for rice cooker itself, but the bowl insert is nonstick. Steamer is plastic. Not sure exact capacity with steamer in place but still holds quite a bit of rice - maybe 4-6 cups cooked rice with steamer in place. Haven’t owned it for long but so far is wearing well.
