NOMA SurfaceElite Cordless Stick Vacuum, PWR POD Compatible

I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago. While it picks up hair and other soft materials, when I use it for cat litter or other hard materials it doesn’t have the suction to make it to the canister. The material circulates in the nozzle and when you turn the power off it falls back onto the floor. Terrible customer experience. I just bought another brand of vacuum.

I was on the hunt for a cordless vacuum for my tiny bachelorette apartment as I was finished with sweeping my floors all the time and had to find an easier solution to removing cat litter from the floors and mats, it’s a little top heavy but other than that it does the job quite well and I loved that I got it on sale as well.

I bought the Noma vacuum on sale (after owning a cordless Dyson and not wanting to pay the hefty price tag for that again). I would not pay the regular price for this Noma vacuum. Although I liked the design of it a little better than the Dyson (Dysons are really top heavy, have really scratchable steel arms, are really difficult to clean unreachable parts, and when the batteries die it's really difficult to replace, you basically need to buy a whole new vacuum). I like that Noma feels more balanced (not so top-heavy), comes with two different sized rechargeable batteries, overall not a terrible looking vacuum, the canister is good, and is easy to take apart and clean the the more unreachable areas (like when you have a chunk of dust and hair stuck up by the motor). However, the suction is not as good as Dyson's (even when set to the high-speed mode, which you have to use all the time because the eco-mode is useless). The head of the vacuum with the wheels is very poorly designed. It's really difficult to push the vacuum across the floor, it almost feels like you're vacuuming over sticky tape all the time. I was debating whether I should grease up the wheel just to get it to roll better. I think that the folks giving this vacuum really good reviews are sponsored and were sent the vacuum for free to review, but I am glad that I bought this vacuum on sale (it's not worth the original price tag), and I will be looking for a different brand when this vacuum gives out on me (and judging by vacuum performances these days it feels like a 5year rotation).

Bought this stick vac when our local Canadian Tire had a sale. We have several other battery operated Mastercraft tools and this vac runs off those batteries which is great. The suction is quite good, even on low power. This stick vac is quite light and easy to use. My only gripe is that the wheels aren't great on it. They sound like the vacuum is scraping our kitchen tiled floor and the turning to manoeuvre the brush head isn't as smooth as other models we have had. Overall, pretty decent and powerful stick vac.

Looks great, but didn’t even charge it or turn it on because we knew right away we had to return it. Contrary to the posted assembled height of 28” in the product specifications specifications, it was over 40” with no way to shorten the tube. Pretty sure the product specifications are actually referring to the packaging/box. I’m short, but even for my 6’2” husband, it was far too tall. Wish the length was adjustable.
