Damaged in box

I bought this one week ago, and when I unpacked it, one of the solar panels was not tightened to the lamp. I was able to fix it, and will go back to Canadian Tire for a price reduction (I have a photo) because it took me a long time to get it all fixed. We are living not close to a Canadian Tire Shop, that's why I didn't have a chance to return it, but fix it myself. Otherwise the product now is working good.

Great security lights. Motion to tactor. Solar panel charged. No plug-in.

This was easy to install. The lights are bright and can be directed in any direction. The solar panel is separate and can be directed separately or mounted at a remote site from the lights if necessary to capture maximum sun. the lights came fully charged and where we keep the solar panel it gets about four hours of sunlight, which is more than enough to keep everything charged up. You can set the lights to on, off or automatic with motion detecting.

A: Hi there, thank you for your inquiry! You will need to put it on auto, see how the 3 features work below. 1. Turn the switch to “AUTO” position; the light will turn on automatically at night when motion is detected. 2. Turn the switch to “ON” position; the light can be used as a standard light for constant illumination. 3. Turn the switch to “OFF” position; the light will remain off and will not detect any movement.

Q: Hi, Does the solar panel work on cloudy days? Can I mount the solar panel on a vertical wall? For example, is the solar panel itself able to be rotated upwards about 45 degrees to catch the sun since the post would be mounted horzontally on a wall?

A: It would be fair to say it is weather resistant. I put it under a slight eve to prevent any snow buildup - but it has worked well as it should since it was installed some time ago. Lots of light from the LEDs - with fewer bulb changes than the halogen version.

A: The time setting determines the duration of light once motion is detected. Light duration can be set from 30 seconds to 120 seconds. The distance setting controls the distance of the range of motion detected. Distance can be set to low, medium or high.
