Pathetic, which is surprising for Noma.
Tested out before permanently mounting. Person walking from the left was sensed 35ft away. Exact angle from the right, person was able to walk up to a few feet short of being underneath it.
Retested in various locations and with person walking at it from different directions and even wearing white shirt and then switching to black.
Angle of approach/light on varied everytime the same approach was duplicated.
Black clothing? It'll allow a dressed in black thief to steal anything that's not directly underneath the motion sensor.
Very disappointed. Noma is usually a very reliable brand.

Really Surprised me!

I was nervous as this was my first time with a battery powered motion sensor light.
Bought this to light up my garbage cans and recycling bin area and was restricted on outlets and solar light.
Put this in expecting to be underwhelmed but when I went to bring the garbage out in the dark, it lit up the whole area perfectly. Very bright, stays on for the perfect amount and shuts off very shortly after you’re out of the area. The sensor has the right sensitivity as well.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: What will be the batteries life in Edmonton winter season, if installed outside?

A: We just purchased the item. We don’t really know how long the battery life would be. It gets very cold here in Orillia at times but I imagine it should work okay in Edmonton.

Q: Can we install this security light indoors, for example, inside a garage (garage is attached to the house) ? Sample photos on product page show light was installed outdoors.

A: why not? It needs motion to be activated, not sunlight.
