Burn out very quickly and mislabelled

To begin, these are not 19W bulbs that come in packs of 5. They are 29W bulbs that come in packs of 2, as one of the attached screenshots demonstrates. I bought 4 boxes of these bulbs to put in my kitchen lighting fixtures, for a total of 8 bulbs, a few months ago. Since then, 4 of the 8 bulbs have burnt out, usually with a loud "POP" sound as they do so. Looking at the burnt-out bulbs, it is clear that the filament burnt out and fused itself to the side of the enclosure. If it was only 1 or 2 bulbs, I might think that they were lemons, and that most of the bulbs are fine. But 4 out of 8 bulbs burning out (and the rest will probably follow suit soon) demonstrates a pattern - these bulbs don't last nearly as long as advertised. It's no wonder they have no warranty at all. Do *not* buy these bulbs. Next time, I'm going to just buy some 25W regular incandescent bulbs instead - I find that I don't need the brightness of 8 40W bulbs in my kitchen anyway.

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • Box is different than described on website
  • Burnt out bulb; 4 of 8 have so far burnt out just like this one in very little time
