Stopped working

I've had this blender for about 3 yrs now, it was amazing but just stopped working this weekend. I don't know what to do now as it's not under warranty anymore. Really disappointed.

I enjoy having my Ninja , I got it last summer and we are having fun with it . I make snow cones for the kids, because yes it turns your ice cubes to snow. It makes the best drinks too...AND
a couple of weeks ago I made a big batch of snow and we had like at the sugar shack tire sur la neige" all the kids went crazy for this.
I do just like my simple easy machine , I LOVE IT!!!

Bought this on sale as a backup to our Ninja Prep which is already a few years old. The Pulse does a great job too and is more powerful. I do like the simplicity of the Prep design better though. The lid must be locked/closed on the unit for it to fit under my kitchen counter and since I use the machine several times/day its a bit of a pain to dry-out between uses with the lid off to the side.

Powerful, effective & easy to use!

I bought this product several weeks ago (on sale!), and have used it at least once a day ever since. I usually make a fruit smoothie in the morning & it tackles the frozen fruits perfectly & efficiently! My last blender had a hard time with frozen whole strawberries, this one makes short work of blending them. My newest guilty pleasure is frozen hot chocolate.....ice cubes, almond milk, hot chocolate powder.....it pulverizes the ice cubes SO easily! There's gonna be some fancy crushed-ice drinks coming out of my kitchen this summer! I love how safe it is too...you can't turn it on unless the lid is on correctly! And clean-up is a breeze...the blade mechanism removes without hassle and rinses clean under hot water. Four parts: the base, the jug, the blades unit, the lid....SO AWESOME!

Le récipient est en plastique, l'on doit tenir le couvercle pour le faire fonctionner. Aucun choix de vitesse. Très de base, si vous aimez la vie dure, cet appareil est pour vous. Piètre qualité. Je l'ai essayé une fois et je l'ai retourné.

Q: Different blade attachments? Hi, I bought this blender for veggie smoothies and salad dressings. But the blender doesn't blend to a creamy consistency. Does this model of the pulse blender have any additional attachments or style of blade?

A: There are no additional attachments/blades for this blender. We recommend pulsing the blender several times at the beginning to ensure a good mix and so no food gets missed in the chopping/blending. This is particularly important when making recipes with (a) little or no liquid and (b) smaller qtys.

Q: Can this blend pepper?

A: No, it will not grind pepper – nor will any “traditional” blender. For grinding pepper, nuts, beans, etc. you need an ultra-high speed blender in the 25,000 RPM range. “Traditional” blenders operate in the 5000-6000 RPM range and will not adequately grind pepper.

Q: how many horsepower and/or rpm does the motor have? I have a Blendtec at home but would like to recommend a cheaper alternative to my wellness clients. How does this compare to Vitamix/Blendtec?

A: This item is a very different proposition than a Vitamix. The key difference between the 2 being the ability to grind more granular items, like beans for instance. For purposes like this, the 430694 would not suffice. If it is frozen blending/I've crushing that is desired, this blender would perform very well.
