I bought this at the begining of May. I was expecting to have to spend hours putting it together, so I waited till the long weekend when the weather was finally nice. I was so wrong! To put together was to just put in the included battery and add the lava rocks. Done! We enjoyed it immediately! The flame was perfect and the heat was fast! Amazing product!

Worst experience

Got it home to find rocks missing. Contacted company to be told they would ship out ASAP! It’s nearing 3 weeks, nothing has arrived and impossible to reach anyone live. The WORST customer service experience and for that I give ZERO stars

Very well thought out heater.

We've owned a couple of patio heaters over the years with varying success. The tall ones with the round metal "hat" provided good heat if you were standing but the starters were always unreliable. The pyramid style with the glass tube look impressive but provided underwhelming heat. Living in Nova Scotia the past few years we have been prone to long fire bans and cool nights so propane fire pits have been very popular but either don't provide enough heat or they just look cheap. This unit is neither, the heat ring is in the perfect spot for sitting in patio or camp chair enjoying a drink with friends and the fire pit top is very appealing especially if you upgrade the stones like we did. I think this will prolong the enjoyment of the outdoors long into fall. A couple of suggestions to Ninja for future versions. #1: Just include the covers, higher end outdoor gear (kamados, smokers) will come with a cover, don't make us order additional items. #2 While the idea of the heater is to provide 360 degrees of heat, there will be times when it's just my wife and I and it would be a nice option to have a front and a back burner option so you can choose full 360 or just 180 degrees of heat. #3 A metal reflector that clips on the side of the heater would also help to capture and utilized some of the heat the fire pit created especially if it was just a couple of people around the heater. Overall, no complaints, once again Ninja has innovated another real practical item. We've got many friends and family interested in getting their own now.
