Along with the aforementioned attachable components, you get 24 Series N nerf bullets. The toy is readily easy to get out of the box and set up for play. The toy gun shoots several feet forward at its specified target. The trajectory is impressive and the accuracy is very nice. I would consider this toy to be an excellent choice for the Nerf aficionados in your life!

The durability and portability is exactly what I would want in a toy for most children and it’s easy to hold and the versatility is on point. It’s so much fun to watch the kids running around playing, thinking like they are cops, soldiers, cowboys they are super excited running around playing with there new nerf shadow storm. Even I had a look at it and go with this toy gun. Simply amazing toy gun. And I can see we’re Hasbro and Nerf were going with it. As a gun owner myself. The internal mag and the strange belt mag it’s clear that the focus they were going for is on the ability to reload on the fly while on the go. The Shadow Storm has an internal 8-dart clip and comes with 24 Nerf N1 foam orange/blue darts, giving you enough darts for multiple reloads. Pretty amazing for a series revolving around a new dart type and style. The darts are wider, shorter, and softer. The blasting speed is faster too, which I liked a lot. I Also Noticed the new Stock Attachment, release button and latches appear to be on the Topside of the stock. And not like the others. This should actually make the connection a little stronger. Since most other stocks on the nerf guns tend to bend downwards when shouldered. It’s much better to have them fold this way like on the shadow. Also the lug on the blaster appears to have slots on both top and bottom. The overall handling of the Nerf feels really nice in the hands and lots of fun to come with this Nerf N Series Shadow Storm toy gun. Keep them coming like this as this has been a lot of fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The family has had a lot of fun with this one. It is on the larger side. However, you can break it down into a smaller size, as the pieces are detachable. I am not really a gun enthusiast, so I don’t love how similar this is to a real gun, especially being that it is intended for kids. (Bump stick, muzzle and sight scope) I do wish it had a safety, because once it’s primed it can pop off if little hands get it. Additionally, it would be nice to have some sort of container for the darts. We store ours in a ziploc bag. We mostly use these to shoot for the dog and cats who LOVE retrieving the darts. All in all a solid product.

My 11yr old son absolutely loves it. He has played with it every day since it arrived. The only thing I foresee would be a problem if kids aren’t wearing some type of eye protection then an eye injury is likely. I say this because the day we gave it to my son he accidentally did that to his Dad. I’m sure my husband’s eye will be fine, but I suggest getting some shop glasses & wear them during playtime. This toy has 6 different options of play & comes with enough foam bullets for each player who has one of these. I definitely recommend, my husband & son both enjoy getting some shots off at me. One of these days I am going to buy my own & for my other kids to enjoy as well. #Nerf Shadow Storm is the perfect gift to get the kids toy to get the kids outdoors & enjoy a moment of peace before they start complaining about being hot outside. We found a couple of water slides so we got those set up & the kids incorporated a trip down a slide if they needed to cool off.
