sur votre site et meme en magasin ont ma dit que cest elle qui me fallais...mais la baterie est 1.5 pouce plus grande que elle d'origine et ne rentre pas dans le trou car il na plus assez de place pour l'autre baterie de l'auto start...😡😡 en plus lors de la vente vous m'avez aviser qui n'avais aucun retour pour les baterie mais vous fournissez pas la bonne affaire a vos client...cest quand meme 400$ !!!🤬🤬

Q: 2012 Audi Q5 with a 3.2 L.I need to replace the OEM VARTA AGM battery in the car. Has the 92 Ah 520A DIN 860A.VARTA batteries have the BEM CODE which is needed to code the new battery. ELIMINATOR do not have them. What can I use for the BEM codes?

  • A: You don't need the BEM code if you have VCDS or OBDeleven, which every VW/Audi owner should have. Just go into coding and change the serial number by 1 digit. It usually defaults to 11111111, change it to 11111112, that's enough to tell the car hey this is a different battery than the old one and it will sort the rest out on its own.

  • A: A Group 48 (L3) battery, which fits many VW, Mercedes, BMW, newer GM trucks and more, was added to Eliminator Ultra assortment in April 2014. It is model 10-4820. Please use our Car Parts Selector tool to find the correct batteries available for your specific vehicle.

  • A: On sale now, don't expect the huge discounts they have on some other products 10-15% is good especially since the price is lower than the regular retail (Exide Edge) and offer a longer warranty and lower core charge.

  • A: This group 35 battery label says 780 CA at zero degrees Celsius and 650 CCA at -18 Celsius. This is the only Motomaster battery I've seen with CCA rating at -18 Celsius.

  • A: Always check that a battery has full charge before installing, i.e. 12,75 v; the charging system charges at a rate of 13.8 to 14.2; newer cars charge to 15.5 before backing off because they have so many more electric and electronic features; when the engine is shut off, the charge drops to 13.2 - 13.5, basically 1 volt below the values you can see when the engine is running; it will then subside to 12.75, and whereas a new battery should hold that value, old ones will drop to 12.2; below that, you should keep a floating charge on it overnight; car systems no longer completely shut off, as the computer needs power to stay on stand-by, and alarm systems can be quite hungry; ok if you use the vehicle everyday, but acquire a lithium booster, e.g. the MotoMaster Eliminator XB15 Lithium Booster Pack/Jump Starter & USB Power Bank, 1500A. This is not a shill for the booster; but just that if left for weeks at a time, you might need this; While AGMs are known for being especially resistant, they are not immune to long periods of idleness while being drained by alarm systems etc. here, a float charger is a cheap way to top up and good models can be had for less than $20, but you have to remember to hook them up. However, I would not buy anything other than an AGM (my last one lasted 10.5 years, and I totally drained it at least 6 times. I replaced it with another last year. Using a big charger means that you should disconnect the ground to protect the 5 v dashboard circuits in case there is a flaw in the system to avoid damage to your gauges &al; new chargers can diagnose, battery, charge system, or starter issues within minutes of being hooked up (MotoMaster Eliminator Workshop Series Smart Battery Charger, Fully Automatic, 15/3-Amp, 6V/12V,#011-1978-2) ALWAYS READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. I have the booster and the charger as well as a float charger (belt and suspenders) as I am a retired mechanic and DIYer for myself and close friends.

  • A: If you're purchasing a new battery and you bring in your old (dead) one, you will receive a core refund towards your purchase. But if you're just bringing in a dead battery, then at this time Canadian Tire does not provide compensation. That said, they will gladly accept your battery for safe disposal.
