Q: Any one used this oil in a mid 90's Yamaha outboard that uses the Precision Blend System? The previous owner of the boat gave me his last jug of Yamalube 1 and I'm hoping this is a suitable substitute.

Q: I have a high opinion of the Formula 1 TCW-3 Outboard oil. I've used it for years. Can I use it in my old premix air cooled skidoo? Its mostly for grandchildren to drive around the fields. I don't see a TC rating on it?

9 years ago- A: MM Formula 1 Outboard Motor oil covers the following specifications: TC-W3, API TC, and meets or exceeds JASO FC for higher detergency, exhaust smoke and exhaust system blocking requirements. This product is a high performance low ash for 2 cycle engine.9 years agoHelpful?
Q: Why is this not recomended for Evinrude/Johnson motors?
9 years ago- A: Evinrude/Johnson motors are usually or can be an E-TEC type 2 cycle engine. These engines set to E-TEC mode only use an E-TEC compatible engine oil. The MM Formula 1 Outboard motor oil is not E-TEC compatible.9 years agoHelpful?

10 years ago- A: 1) We will need the scooter manufacturer specifications to make a suggestion 2) MotoMaster ATF Dex/Merc does not meet Mercon V specification. There is no Mercon 3 or 4. Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage ATF and MotoMaster Syn Multi-Vehicle ATF meet Mercon V.10 years agoHelpful?

11 years ago- A: This product is still blue with no formulation changes. The color has always been kind of bluish-greenish, so it may just be normal variation in dye or base oil interaction with dye or possibly the treat rate of the dye.11 years agoHelpful?
