Added a little bit of grip to my belt, but still squealed too much. Ended up just buying a new belt for $25 and spending 20 minutes to change it, which was way better than spending about $10 for something that doesn’t really work very well.

Q: Is this product safe for serpentine belts?

A: It should be, although I dont like to use these products. They usually temporarily cover up the problem. Check the serpentine belt, and pulleys, and replace if needed. The pulley alignment can sometimes cause squeaks

A: We would not recommend it for use on a disc turn table strap as the product is designed for the rubber belts that are used in cars, trucks, lawn mowers and tractors.
