    Worked great at first. After 6 or so uses the compressor quit. Will try to return and look for better one

    Received this as a gift last year after asking for a really good and accurate device for home use. It looks impressive and as requested the PSI was accurate to a calibrated tire pressure tester but......2 issues. First it kept blowing fuses on my cars then the plug broke. Disappointing as I have had far cheaper ones from Canadian tire that lasted for years.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    J'ai acheté ce compresseur de Motomaster en pensant qu'il serait bon pour longtemps. Puis 1 an et demi après l'achat le boyau fuyait au niveau du connecteur. Je me suis ensuite rendu chez Canadian Tire et la vendeuse m'a dit qu'il y avait rien à faire puisque la garantie était terminé. Moi qui croyais que les produits Motomaster était solide et durable... Je suis très déçu et je ne recommanderai plus les produit Motomaster.

    Q: Is this a new product ? To whom it may concern, Hi! Is the compressor product #299-0253-8 a new product.? Other compressors being considered: # 09-5018-2 # 09-5079-6 (Good overall rating). Please advise. Thanks and regards. R. Hébeiche

    • A: Yes 299-0253 is a new compressor as it has an adjustable light. However it is similar in motor and inflation time of 3 min to our current skus 009-5018 and 009-5079.
