Q: When it is plugged in, will it turn on... and if so... will it overcharge the batteries and kill them? I would like to use this plugged in most of the time and have the option to use cordless as needed. What type of batteries come in the light? More than often, chargers fail to be "smart" enough

A: I just bought one and before reading the instructions, plugged in the wall outlet for an initial top up charge. No, the light would not come on while plugged in. Then the instructions said not to turn it on while plugged in as this could damage the light. It didn't damage the light. The instructions also say not to store the light for 'long periods of time', whatever a long period is, but are these lights not in a state of 'storage' after manufacturing and prior to purchase? Also, instructions say charging takes 6-8 hours. It's a very bright light and for it's cordless portability, I'm happy. hi beam, 3 hrs run; low beam 6 hrs run - instructional info again. Nice flashing red light as well

A: The AC charger have a charging indicator, when charging, the light is red and when charging finished, the light will turn green.

A: The charger of this light is: Input: 100-240V, output 8.4V 500mAH. Could you please ask customer to find this kind of adaptor in the market. If it can’t be found, please let us know we will ask the vendor to send one to the customer.
