BOOSTER DIED AFTER A YEAR!
Don't buy this booster because it won't charge and won't hold charge of course. Boosted my car for the first time about 4 years ago and with a brand new one straight from Canadiantire after charging it for the first time and it could barely boost. This thing is like a lemon product. At least it lasted for a year top after 4 to 5 boost. I still have it now but still won't charge. Waste of money. I'm surprised it has sold out now.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Over Charge Protection
Can this unit be left on continuous charge without being overcharged? How long does it take to discharge while not in use?

A: The manual states that you can leave it connected to the charger continuously and once it reaches full capacity it goes into floating charge mode.
I've only had it for a couple of weeks so not sure about the full discharge but you need to charge the battery fully every 3 months or it will shorten the life of the booster.

My law tractor battery has run down. Machine was serviced recently so should be OK. When I connect the booster, turn it one, and try to start, nothing happens. Is the problem the lawn tractor or the booster?

Q: what gauge wire are the leads

A: Not so big but they are short. Since they are much shorter than booster cables there is no need for a very large wire guage.

Q: Is the battery inside a MotoMaster 1200 Booster Pack deep cycle?
If it is deep cycle than it can be fully discharged and charged up right away and still work. I want to pair this with a 400 Watt inverter and laptop.

A: 13.5 V. Any voltage 13.5 to 16V should work fine. You need at least 500ma.
