Q: How do I remove rust spots on my silver pearl paint I just finished applying wax, Meguiars, and polished and I see the rust spots are still present. they are small needle size

  • A: Rust needs to be grinded out. It will continue to spread and damage your paint. You can try sanding it if it's small but you have to make sure you get it all, then treat the metal after, and then re-touch it with primer and touch-up paint.

Q: i just want to know why does it have Carnauba Cleaner and showtime detailer, what do they do? and is mother product better than turtle wax? do i apply was after clay bar?

  • A: No, clay bar is not an abrasive. Another alternative to wet sanding would be a leveling compound and a polisher to 'level' the paint.

Q: fine swirl scratches removal step To bring the clearcoat on my car back to the best I can, should I use a scratch remover to remove very fine swirl scratches in the clearcoat before or after using this clay bar product? Start with a hand wash, finish with waxing.

  • A: If your swirl marks are very prevalent, Id suggest a full detail: hand wash dry low grit clay wipe down high grit clay wipe down cut/compound with buffer wipe down polish / seal wax Sounds like alot of work, and it is, but swirl marks is damaged to the clear and paint, so youll have to take the extra steps to make them go away. Clay pull contaminants up and out of the clear, it doesnt fill. Hope that helps.
