I bought this cooler about 5 years ago. I use it regularly in the summer, but park it in the winter. It recently stopped dead. When i checked it out, I found that it worked on AC, but not on 12V. Further investigation revealed that the fuse had failed, not blown. The only problem was finding the customer service number, which does not appear in the paperwork that I have. I found it on the CTC site, and the rest was easy. They not only gave me another fuse, they gave me spares, and even threw in another cord, just to be save. Now that is what i call customer service.
Yes, I recommend this product.

20 below outside temp??

i tried multiple mobicool and it doesnt get cold enough.When its 20 outside it doesnt get below 10, which is not enough to cool, and you cannot put ice in it. you are better off with a traditionnal cooler with a 4 $ ice bag in it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Purchased this cooler in Oct.2012.We were traveling across Canada from N.S. to B.C. and back.It was a 22 day road trip and this cooler did not stop running.Went 24/7 between12v when traveling and 120v when in motel rooms.We still use it on a regular basis and it works great.There was a little bit of moisture build up and it operates very quite.Extremely pleased with this cooler/warmer.

la glacière est géniale lorsqu'elle fonctionne. Je l'ai acheté il y a 3 ans. 18 mois plus tard, le ventilateur ne fonctionnait . J'en ai racheté une autre et encore une fois, 18 mois plus tard, cette fois-ci, c'est le système de réfrigération qui ne fonctionne plus. Décevant comme performance à long terme, car sinon, nous l'avons bien aimée.

Q: How long to cool? I just bought the Mobicool and plugged it in for close to an hour and it doesn't seem to cool inside. Could the cooling element be defective?

A: If you put some drinks in and they didn't get cold after an hour or so, then yes it's defective. If you are just feeling with your hands then you won't really be able to tell.

A: We used it for bottled water and it did great. Ice would only last as long as it would in a regular cooler I'd imagine (this device cannot create freezing temperatures), so it would keep ice for awhile if you needed some temporary storage.

A: One handle is small and the other handle extends 11" from the cooler when perpendicular. When you lift the cooler with both hands ie to put in a vehicle the longer handle doubles as a small handle so both sides feel similar when picking up. The longer handle allows you to pull the cooler like a suitcase; I am 5'11" and have no trouble pulling it. 21 x 15(wheels included) x 17.5h weight no idea; rain from car to hotel room ok, but not in down pour.

Q: 31 or 37 qt? The title indicates 31 qt but both the features and specifications indicate it to be 37 quart size. Which is correct?
