Q: will this go slightly more then 45 degrees by any chance? I need 46.5.
3 months agoA: Just checked, yes there is enough slop where the guides mount to the base that you could get to 47°, but this is not a precision tool. Even with the higher precision red plastic bushings installed there is still slop in the guides. How are you going to start a hole at 46.5°?

A: The base opening is about 3-3/8” but realistically you wouldn’t want to use anything over 3”. Might just be too much torque for the chuck to handle depending on exactly what is being done.

2 years agoA: This tool should NOT be used with a hammer drill. The tool would be destroyed. FYI the packaging clearly states this as does the manual
