plow system is amazing the only problem I have is the 2 inch receiver hook up is not so good I end up welding the hitch to my truck and adding a center support bracket in as well cause I kept breaking it in heavy snow on an angle now there is no problem plow heavy snow on a angle heavy snow I mean 3-4 feet ,

Meyer wingman snow plow

This plow is very well built. And easy to use. I own a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 the receiver was to high for the plow set up but Meyer sells a heavy duty 2" drop that works amazing. The only other thing I needed was shoes for it. I really think that the shoes should be already on it.

This is a professional plow designed for a half ton truck . The plow has a float option and Hands Free Plowing mode . Is light weight and durable . Allowing for stress free plowing . It does not come with plow shoes which I would advise you spend the extra money and purchase if you are plowing gravel areas or rough roads as it will add years to your cutting edge . I am very pleased with the set up . I also advise that you have the plow installed by Canadian Tire Technicians as it is definitely more complicated than indicated by Meyer's. All in all a very well thought out professional level plow .

got this plow last year workers amazing on f150 , and dodge ram 1500, had one problem with it and Meyer fixed it right away under warranty, only thing I found wrong is two inch reciever was cracked due to wear, tear , would definitely recommend

A: Yes it is specifically made for half ton or smaller vehicles . Would definitely work on a jeep . You need a front reciever hitch installed on front.

A: Yes, it will fit any 2” front mounted receiver, but please consult your owner’s manual as our understanding is that Ford did not rate the 2011 & 2012 F-150’s for plowing. The hitch is not included.
