Q: can I paint on top of it, after it is dried?
3 years agoA: Yes, you can. I removed rust from the metal parts on my elliptical machine, brought it back to bare metal, then used gray metal paint to finalize everything.

Q: Is this safe to use on car automotive paint chips? Will it damage paint or clear coat?
2 years agoA: I used it on rims and it was OK. It did not remove all rust but remove most of it. I also used Hand Drill Brush/Wheel Set for Wood/Metal Rust Removal. It's not like you apply this gel and rust are gone instantly.

2 years agoA: I believe you can. Then wash them. You can put them in white vinegar too.

Q: Does this contain oxalic acid, and if not what are its main active ingredients?
2 years agoA: This product is not acidic. It converts FEO3 to FE04: different forms of oxide. I don't know the chemistry. It needs to be at room temperature.
