I tried Phillips and other brands and Memorex is the one that I have been the most sucessful with. I continue to buy these and I am confident that I will not miss a minute of family video on these discs. Very Satisfied.

Great for Movies & Data

I’ve used many of these Memorex DVD+R disks and have not experienced any problems. I’ve only burned these DVDs on fast, >2.0GHz, Dual-Core computers, 3GB RAM, with almost no multi-tasking during the burning process, as a result these DVDs’ always burn without any errors. I’ve tried these DVD ‘plus’ R formats on different DVD players, as old as 4 years and they’ve always worked. As long as these disks are stored properly, I’ve never had problems with reading the disk after a year or two.

I have been buying this brand for years since the x1 dvd burner days. They work and they handle age well. They have always burned at their advertised speed with on average less then 1 dud disk per spindle of 50.
