great for what it says and plants pop up a lot quicker than just putting them under earth and watering and the light was easy quick to set up and gives them the lighting seedlings need to thrive i have a lot ready now for spring

The problem with this grow light is the electrical cord does not fit too well in the socket. I found it difficult to prevent it from coming out of the socket, so I had to tape it well for it to stay put.

Q: How high is the dome on this?

A: Thank you for your question. The dome once placed on top of the seed starting tray is 1.75" tall. This dome is designed to provide the greenhouse effect only until the seeds germ. Once seeds germinate it is recommended to remove. Hope this helps and our best to you this season.

Q: Can you find a replacement bulb at Canadian Tire when it is needed Bulbs burn out so it would be good to know that one can purchase a replacement bulb when needed where I make a purchase of this item.

A: Canadian Tire does not currently have a 2’ T5 High Output bulb as a replacement bulb for this fixture, but we are looking to bring in a 6400/6700 Kelvin T5 High Output bulb to support this light fixture this season. The replacement bulb would be introduced into our Electrical line, and would be available with the rest of our Light Bulb selection.
